Repair the part or replace the fitting?
A worn washer or cartridge can cause dripping, but the right part depends on the tap. A photograph of the whole fitting, any brand marking and the underside of the sink helps us assess the options. Parts availability, corrosion and the condition of the tap body can make replacement more sensible than repeated repairs.
Choose a tap that works with your system
A new tap must suit the mounting holes, pipe connections and available water pressure. A tall kitchen mixer can also need more clearance behind the sink. If you are supplying the tap, send the product link before buying so compatibility and installation access can be discussed.
What affects the work?
Seized connections, missing isolation valves and very restricted cupboard access can add time. We agree the fitting, labour and any extra pipework before work proceeds. Cabinet alterations, new sinks and worktop changes are separate items unless included in the quote.
