Plan before cabinets and worktops arrive
Sink position, appliance layout and the route to the waste connection shape the plumbing work. Moving a sink across a room is different from replacing one in the same opening. Send a plan showing the proposed layout and where existing services enter the kitchen.
Separate first fix from final connections
A refurbishment may need one visit for pipework and another when cabinets, worktops and appliances are ready. Agree who fits the sink into the worktop, cuts access openings and makes good walls or flooring. Coordination avoids paying for a visit before the kitchen is ready.
Be specific about the products
Undermount sinks, boiling-water taps and specialist filters can have their own installation requirements. We review the actual product before accepting the work. Gas cooking appliances and electrical connections are not included in a water-plumbing quotation unless explicitly assessed and agreed.
