Privacy & cookies

How Corva uses information supplied through our website and customer services.

Who handles your information

Corva Ltd, trading as Corva Plumbing & Heating, handles the personal information you give us. Contact teams@corva.co.uk or write to Merchandise Hall, Bay Trading Estate, Kinmel Bay, LL18 5LG about your information.

Enquiries, quotations and appointments

We collect your name, contact details, property address, job description, preferred timing and any photos you choose to send. We use these to answer your enquiry, assess the work, prepare a quotation and arrange agreed services. We process information needed to take steps at your request before a contract, fulfil agreed work, and meet applicable record-keeping duties. Relevant service and safety information is retained with the job.

Customer accounts and office records

Customer records can include appointments, correspondence, quotes, invoices, payment records and inspection documents. Access is restricted by role: customers see their own linked records, engineers see permitted work, and authorised office users manage enquiries and jobs. Account features are available only when the required sign-in service is enabled. Do not send card details through enquiry forms.

Subcontractor applications

We collect the business, contact, experience, qualification, insurance, worker and payout information requested in the application. Authorised office users assess suitability, contact applicants and administer approved working arrangements. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or trigger a payout. Provide information you are authorised to share and avoid unrelated personal details.

Security, storage and service providers

The website uses OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare-backed storage. Technical request information helps operate and protect the service; this supports our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure website. Information needed for a job may be shared with the assigned engineer or agreed subcontractor. Enabled communication or payment providers process information needed for those functions. We do not sell enquiry information or add it to a marketing list through these forms. Contact us for details about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your record.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses essential session protection for account access and browser storage to retain enquiry progress. Optional Google measurement is loaded only after you choose “Accept measurement”. It helps Corva understand website use and which adverts lead to successfully submitted enquiries or boiler quote requests. If you choose “Essential only”, Google measurement is not loaded. Enhanced conversions and customer-data sharing are not enabled. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. External charity, manufacturer, phone and email links take you to services with their own privacy arrangements.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the enquiry or service, outstanding work, warranty or safety requirements, accounting obligations and any dispute. Contact us to ask what is held about you, the applicable retention period, or to request deletion. Information needed for an existing obligation may have to be retained; we will explain this when responding.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your information and, where applicable, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, or request a portable copy. We may need to verify your identity before releasing records. Contact teams@corva.co.uk first with your enquiry reference if available. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. You can make an enquiry by telephone if you prefer not to use the online form.
