Tell us what you can see safely
Describe where water appears, whether the flow is constant and which fittings were in use when it started. A clear photograph taken from a safe position helps. Keep away from wet electrical equipment and unsafe ceilings; do not open electrical fittings or remove a boiler casing.
Finding and repairing the source
A visible pipe or connection leak may be straightforward to locate. Concealed pipework can require agreed access before its condition is known. We discuss investigation, the proposed repair and any additional work as the source becomes clearer. This is not an advertised acoustic or thermal leak-detection service.
Repair and reinstatement are different tasks
Stopping a leak does not automatically include replacing flooring, plastering, decorating or drying out a property. Ask for these boundaries in writing, and speak to your insurer if a claim may be involved. We do not promise that an insurer will reimburse an investigation or repair.
